I knew I was on for a bad experience when I asked the wired distracted waiter where the fish was from and he snorted 'the sea!'. I remained incredulous and he muttered something about Brixham and a van now and then.
I enjoy busy places if the food is fresh and the service congenial. This had neither to balance the chaotic atmosphere. The food was not as good as my old comprehensive and the service lacked charm and attention all carried out by aggressively over worked waitresses. Potatoes frozen and reheated, depressed veg and tasteless sauces camouflaged over cooked fish and meat.
If you like your food to echo hospital Christmas meals served up by aggressive six formers... get yourself down to the Flambé dan le Sutton Benger!!! This is a kind review as well.
