The food is lovely; the menu is fairly small but its just right – not too much choice for an indecisive person like me! The doorways are low (ideal for me being 5'2" but not my partner 6'1"). The atmosphere was nice and there is music playing the background. The decor is a bit odd - all the pictures on the walls are mismatched some pictures are Banksy others are just random but nice. Two pints of coke cost £4.80 which is a bit much considering its just post-mix but the food is good value for money. We had the liver & onions and the steak pie (which was more braising steak than pie!). The only thing that put me off was the fact that the manager had dyed his hair bright yellow and he reminded me a bit of Ricky Gervais and seemed to think that this was normal/acceptable?!?!7/10
