Friday 4th march 2011We visited beatson house which is a lovely little restaurant in the heart of cawthorne ,Having had to book well in advance we were expecting good food ,we were not disappointed ! . On arrival we were greeted by very welcoming staff and seated in the bar and presented with menus and drinks Orders were taken quickly and staff were very friendly and helpful,expaining the menu and suggesting wine choices .Shortly after we were seated at our table and served very quickly and efficiently .The food served was excellent both visually and to taste , we had a great night ,we shall certainly be visiting again
