Had a fantastic meal in the Parkway Restaurant last night. 19/1/08.
We were looking for a relaxed restaurant and found the perfect place. We were the first diners on a quiet winter's saturday night.
The menu is pretty short, but everything sounded fantastic and we were spolit for choice and enjoyed choosing from the tapas menu to start us off. We were also surprised by the amuse-bouche which consisted of an espresso cup-sized portion of the most delicious cauilfower and brie soup. A lovely gesture.
The tapas starters were equally delicious, particularly the feta stuffed peppers; the sweetness of the peppers contrasting with the salitness of the feta.
This great start continued with the main courses - amazing mutton which melted in the mouth and ginger glazed pork. Both absolutely delicious.
The shared pudding was pre-ceded by a complimentary glass contaning caramel and coconut ice creams - again fantastic and equally delcious treacle sponge and coconut ice cream.
This was the lovliest food we had eaten in ages, beatifully cooked, friendly service and very reasonable. Strange, considering the quantity of food we had eaten (in effect 5 courses) we didn't feel over full. A memorable meal - many thanks and good luck. Will definitely return!!

We came across this restaurant, hidden away in the centre of Ludlow. The welcome by Alex and Dean was excellent. Waiter service by Jake was top notch.
The menu and quality of food was superb, so much so that six of us returned the following night.
Highly recommended but do book!!
