Food Quality
Excellent food - some of thew best we've had. Starters were delicious (Crostini and Pate, and Garlic Mushrooms), main courses were superb (chicken with a white wine sauce, and chicken with a mustard sauce, with perfectly cooked chicken. We managed to fit in desserts too, profitteroles, and a crem brulee.
Menu Choice
Huge menu choice, from steaks, pasta, pizza, antipasto, fish, and more. There's also as much on the specials board again as on the menu!
Service
Excellent staff, very polite and pleasant. Very patient too - we were so full and the menu was so hard to choose from we kept sending them away to give us more time!
Facilities
Giannis is situated on a main road in Scarborough, set amongst a variety of different buildings, none of which were Italian. Giannis is decorated in Italian colours, with lights but is not gaudy, and fits in very well. Inside it's cosy, but not too small. It got noisy just as we were about to leave.
Fantastic meal, great venue. We were recommended this by the owners of the B and B we stayed in - definitely a place to visit when in Scarborough.
