me and my friend had a meal on 31 july 2009 at Rucci Tandoori Restaurant in Sutton Coldfield - this was our first visit. The service was excellent and the two young waiters were most helpful. The food, portions were very small, starter, king prawn buttlerfly in bread crumbs was all breadcrumbs, couldn't taste or see the king prawn at £3.95 not value for money at all. King Prawn curry was lovely, vegetable naan was excellent. My friends meal was lovely apart from the starter. The bill we noted that for two poppadums cost us £2.40, which is totally disgusting, where most restaurants they are free or 70pence. The manager stated it was with chutney! we only had mango chutney and one tiny teaspoon. Overall, wouldn't go there again! Being Indian myself, the Manager, was arrogant and didn't like me questioning my bill! wouldn't recommend my friends/family.
