Sorry folks, but I really do not rate this brasserie at all. The staff are sweet and friendly, but bitten nails and chewed off nail varnish does not look the part in what could be a very nice cafe. The restaurant is very well equipped and quite pleasant to sit in, but the food is awful.The owner/chef should have changed into a clean teeshirt before walking around the restaurant. The rest of the staff were dressed in very nice uniforms.The service was very quick, but dirty dishes were not cleared away from the table.The cottage pie was tasteless and the only vegetable offered was peas. The salad was very poor, the ham was very 'plasticky' and tasteless, on the whole it was extremely poor value for money. The sponge pudding with pineapple was burnt. The coffee weak.
