I have always heard that Penn Tandoori has had the best Indian food in the whole of Wolverhampton, but I had never visited. However, they have had a recent revamp, now looking more like a plush city bar than your average curry house. Once arriving at the Penn Tandoori, i was instantly greeted by the manager, and taken to my seat, within an already full restaurant at 6.30pm.
What can I say, food lived up to all the hype, service was the best I have ever come across and atmosphere was second to none.
I would recommend this restaurant to anybody within a 50mile radius of this place!!
It certainly wont be my last visit.

The first time I visited Penn Tandoori can only be described as fabulous! I first went to Penn with a few girlfriends after hearing many many recommendations and wanted to see what all the fuss was about for myself. I was greeted at the door and escorted to my seat by staff that really do uphold the principle of "service with a smile".
The general atmosphere was great. The restaurant was approximately 75% full by 7.00pm with a very diverse group of customers from young and elderly couples to families with young children.
Moving on to the food, an unforgettable meal especially the main course, I ordered the lobster bhuna which was honestly cooked to perfection! Absolutely heavenly! The have a wide range of desserts menu but I would highly recommend the strawberry cheesecake! Penn by far serves the best indian food I have ever tasted and very affordable prices.
Finally, the add the big cherry on the top, that was the night I met a handsome, charming man who is now my fiance! We go back to Penn every week, not simply because it's the place we met, but trust me Penn will provide you with an unforgetable evening. Everything you could want from an top-quality indian restaurant all under one roof!

My family are from Wolverhampton, and I have always heard high reviews about Penn Tandoori. Myself am from Wales and visted Penn Tandoori for the first time. Penn Tandoori is the best restaurant ive ever tried. Looks great, foods great and the staff unbealivable. One waiter called Jay, the bosses son made me feel like i was being served by a friend and not a waiter, i have never laughed so much in my life. With Penn Tandoori its not just going out for a meal, its a life time experience. Highly recommended. One piece of advice i will give if anyone ever visit Penn Tandoori 'ask for Jay'.
