The Chester Tandoori has recently been refurbished and I have been there on four occasions for the Sunday buffet. The staff are very attentive and friendly. The range of food on offer is good, usually several vegetarian options, meat options, two types of rice and naan bread. In addition, there is a good selection of the classic starters such as onion bhajis and pakoras, and salad. The quality of the food is usually good and much better than most buffets I have previously experienced. The sauces can be a little greasy, but no more so than any other curry I have eaten. At £6.95 per adult, you don't mind paying a steeper price for the drinks.
I have never tried the a la carte menu, but judging by the standard of the buffet, I would suggest that it is worth a try.
