At The Great Food Guide we value your privacy. We will never pass your details onto any third party without your express permission. If you sign up to our (free) accounts will will not pass on your details to anyone, and you are not obligated to purchase anything either now or at any point in the future. The Great Food Guide provides all services free of charge, and is funded by advertising revenue.

It is necessary to sign up to a free account to access some of the services available, such a submitting full reviews and submitting places to eat. This is a completely free process, and is very quick, taking less than 5 minutes. If you choose to sign up to our site, we take a minimum amount of personal information from you. We will never disclose your email address or password to anyone - not now, not ever. We ain't no dirty spammers! Your email address will also never be made public on this site.

We discourage users from entering any personal data on the website, for example in reviews or places to eat, and any instances of it will be amended accordingly and the user notified or warned.

We ask users to respect others, and also respect any places they are adding or reviewing. Any bad or foul language, racism, sexism or any-other-ism will not be tolerated, and any libelous content added for any Place To Eat will be dealt with accordingly. While we will not pass your details onto any other third party, that doesn't exclude us passing them onto the police if you choose to say something nasty that you shouldn't about a place to eat!
